Your day begins at the airfield, where you’ll be welcomed with tea or coffee. The flying lessons lasts approximately four hours, providing ample time for an insightful journey into the world of flying. You’ll start with pre-flight briefings conducted by qualified instructors who have extensive experience flying various aircraft. They will explain the dynamics of a fixed-wing aircraft and what to expect during your flight.
One of the highlights of this flying experience is the chance to participate in a hands-on 20-minute flying lesson. Under the guidance of your instructor, you’ll have the opportunity to take the controls and learn the basics of flying. It’s a memorable way to get a taste of what being a pilot is really like.
In addition to the flying lessons, you’ll receive FREE pilot notes and a signed flight certificate to commemorate your achievement. A light lunch will also be provided, allowing you to relax and chat with fellow participants about your experiences.
This small group setting ensures that you receive personal attention throughout the day, making it a comfortable environment for learning. You’ll even have the chance to take a guided tour of the hangars, where you can learn more about different aircraft types.

This experience will last approximately 3.5 hours with 20 mins of flying.Â
It is a shared experience with other students, each of you will have 20 mins at the controls.

This is an incredibly popular experience, so the provider advises booking around 3-6 months in advance for most locations. As we are a gift experience provider, we advise giving the voucher for the occasion ( i.e birthday/ anniversary ) and allowing the recipient to choose a location, time and date that suits them.
This is experience is weather dependant and can be cancelled at any point up to the booking time in the interests of safety - in the event of a cancellation you are able to rebook for an alternative date.
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
