During this 2.5-hour adventure, you'll be guided by experienced and CAA licensed helicopter instructors, individuals who have not only mastered the art of helicopter flying but have also operated a wide range of helicopters. Your journey begins with an informative introduction and safety briefing, ensuring you're well-prepared for the experience ahead.
The highlight of this experience is undoubtedly the hands-on helicopter flying lesson. You'll be seated in a 4-seater training helicopter, where the instructor will introduce you to the dynamics of helicopter flight. Then, the moment you've been waiting for arrives – you'll have the chance to take control and pilot the helicopter yourself. Feel the thrill as you command the aircraft through the skies during this 15 minute flight.
In addition to the flight experience, you'll also get a behind-the-scenes look at our hangars, where you can explore various helicopter types and gain a deeper understanding of the machinery that takes flight. To cap off the day, one of our CAA licensed helicopter instructors will present you with valuable insights into helicopter pilot career options, helping you envision the path ahead.

A fuel surcharge of £4.50 per person will be payable direct to the provider upon booking.
This experience will last approximately 2.5 hours with 15 mins of flying.Â
It is a shared experience with 2 other students, each of you will have 15 mins at the controls.
What does the experience include?
Available on various weekdays and weekends throughout the year.
This is an incredibly popular experience, so the provider advises booking around 3-6 months in advance for most locations. As we are a gift experience provider, we advise giving the voucher for the occasion ( i.e birthday/ anniversary ) and allowing the recipient to choose a location, time and date that suits them.
This is experience is weather dependant and can be cancelled at any point up to the booking time in the interests of safety - in the event of a cancellation you are able to rebook for an alternative date.
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
