Over the course of approximately 2.5 unforgettable hours, you’ll take to the skies under the expert guidance of a CAA qualified instructor, who will be with you every step of the way. Each participant will enjoy 30 minutes of hands-on flying time, taking the controls to experience the exhilaration of piloting a real aircraft. When not flying, you’ll take the role of an observer in the rear seats for two 30 minute sessions, watching and learning as the other participants take their turns.
That’s a total of 90 minutes spent in the aircraft, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the thrill of flight, gain confidence, and see what it takes to handle an aeroplane in action. From taxiing along the runway to climbing into the open skies, every moment offers a new perspective on what it’s like to be a pilot.

A fuel surcharge of £4.50 per person will be payable direct to the provider upon booking.
This is a shared 3 person experience, there will be two other participants on the flight (and an instructor).Â
Each participant receives 30 minutes of flying, and then two 30 minute slots as an Observer in the rear.
Please allow approx 2.5 hours for this experience with 90 mins total within the plane.Â
What does this experience include?
Available on selected Saturday's and Sunday's.
This is an incredibly popular experience, so the provider advises booking around 3-6 months in advance for most locations. As we are a gift experience provider, we advise giving the voucher for the occasion ( i.e birthday/ anniversary ) and allowing the recipient to choose a location, time and date that suits them.
The main flying season is April-October for most of the locations.
This is experience is weather dependant and can be cancelled at any point up to the booking time in the interests of safety - in the event of a cancellation you are able to rebook for an alternative date.
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
