Set in a beautiful wooden events barn on a farm near Upper Broughton, right on the edge of the stunning Vale of Belvoir, this fun-filled class combines great food, fresh air and authentic pizza-making skills in one unforgettable experience.
The experience begins with discovering the secrets behind wood-fired cooking, including wood preparation, seasoning and the history of traditional pizza ovens. Then it’s time to fire things up and get the oven ready for baking.
Next comes the dough. Participants will learn how to make authentic pizza dough from scratch before having a go at one of the most entertaining parts of the day, tossing the dough like a true pizzaiolo!Â
From there, guests will create their own delicious sauce, prepare fresh toppings and build their perfect pizza exactly how they like it. Finally comes the best bit of all: baking the pizza inside a classic wood-fired oven and watching it bubble, crisp and char to perfection in just minutes.
Once the pizzas are ready, everyone can sit back, relax and enjoy a laid-back pizza picnic with refreshments and accompaniments included, the perfect ending to a brilliant experience.
