This Continental Bread Making Experience is the perfect treat for food lovers and budding bakers. In just two delicious hours, they’ll create two incredible continental-inspired bakes to take home, all while learning hands-on skills inside a real working bakery.
This fun and relaxed workshop takes tastebuds on a tour across Europe, beginning in the Mediterranean with the ultimate comfort bake: focaccia. Guided by a professional baker, guests will make a beautifully golden tray of pillowy bread bursting with rosemary, thyme, oregano, tomatoes and olives. Fresh, fragrant and irresistibly moreish, it’s the kind of bake that disappears almost as soon as it comes out of the oven.
Next stop? Sweden! Inspired by the much-loved Swedish ‘fika’ culture, where coffee and sweet treats are always on the menu, participants will craft stunning cinnamon knots from enriched yeast dough. Twisted into elegant buns before baking, these sweet, buttery pastries are every bit as delicious as they look.Â
The skills learnt during the workshop can easily be recreated at home, meaning the experience lasts long after the final cinnamon knot has been eaten.
