Under the guidance of an expert teaching chef, you’ll dive straight into the world of South Indian cooking. You'll learn the secrets behind spices, discover how to balance flavours, and build confidence in the kitchen.
You’ll start by pounding classic South Indian ingredients into a rich Kerala-style curry paste. The aromas alone will transport you to the spice markets of India. From there, you’ll bring the paste to life in a punchy prawn curry, creating a dish bursting with depth and character. Alongside it, you’ll master a fresh, zingy coriander chutney and finally unlock the secret to serving up perfect fluffy rice, time after time, no more sticky or clumpy disasters.
The class is relaxed and interactive, with easy-to-follow demonstrations and plenty of time to cook at your own station. Working in pairs, you’ll have all the ingredients, equipment and aprons provided, so the focus is purely on having fun and learning. Once the cooking’s done, it’s time to gather around the chef’s table to tuck into your feast. Prefer to save it for later? You can pack up a box to take home instead.
