This 1 Hour Mini Caribbean Cooking Class is the perfect way to introduce someone to the vibrant flavours of Caribbean cooking.
Led by experienced home cooks who know their way around authentic island flavours, you’ll spend an hour creating delicious dishes, learning insider tips, and soaking up the warm, welcoming atmosphere. All the ingredients and equipment are provided, all you need to bring are containers to take your creations home. Each class makes enough for two portions, so you can share (if you want to!) or enjoy it all yourself.
There are three tempting classes (available monthly on selected Sundays)Â
Jerk in a Hurry – Learn how to make the iconic jerk chicken or jerk tofu, perfectly paired with a fresh and zesty mango salsa. It’s the ultimate quick Caribbean fix, full of bold, mouth-watering flavours.
Plantain Perfection – Discover why plantain is such a much-loved ingredient in Caribbean cooking. You’ll make plantain fritters and try plantain in both sweet and savoury styles, showing just how versatile this staple can be.
Dumpling Drop – Master the golden, fluffy joy of fried dumplings and fried festivals. These irresistible bites are paired with a tangy tamarind dipping sauce that balances the richness beautifully.
Throughout the 1 hour class, you’ll get plenty of one-to-one guidance, helping you to build confidence in the kitchen while keeping things relaxed and fun. At the end, you’ll take home beautifully presented recipe cards for everything you’ve made, so you can recreate the flavours again and again.
