Kayak your way through 14km of Sussex countryside on this brilliant River Ouse adventure, starting at the calm waters of Barcombe Mills and finishing in the historic town of Lewes. As you float downstream, you’ll pass wide-open meadows and greenery that goes on forever. Participants should arrive with warm, waterproof clothing suited to the day’s weather. A complete kit list will be provided upon booking, but here’s a general guide:

*Layered clothing is ideal for trapping warmth. Denim is discouraged as it restricts movement, feels cold when wet, and dries slowly. Footwear is required while kayaking, old trainers or plimsolls are ideal, while sandals are not recommended. Wetsuits are optional but not essential; if bringing one, layering a warm top over it is suggested.
