Attend a one day introductory woodworking course designed for beginners, where participants will craft their own personalised bread board.
During the course, attendees will learn the techniques required to assemble a wooden bread board, including wood joining methods and the use of essential machines and tools to achieve a high-quality finish. The session offers hands-on training in the safe and confident use of various woodworking equipment, such as the mitre saw, band saw, drill press, and sanders, with potential exposure to the table saw, jointer, and planer.
By the end of the course, each participant will have created a functional and attractive bread board to take home, ready to be a centrepiece in their kitchen!
Group size will be up to 8 people.

Please arrive on time. If you are 15 minutes late or more, you'll not be allowed entry to the class. This is to ensure the students have a lesson without disruption once the class has started.

Attended the breadboard class. So fun and informative. Went with my partner and it felt like a perfect couples fun thing to do and we got to have an amazing unique breadboard forever at the end. The teacher was so patient and answered all our questions and gave me the confidence to use the power tools. He also wasn't overbearing so it felt like we were left to create our own ideas and really gain confidence with wood working. He explained all the steps and why things are used so that we aren't just coming in making a breadboard and leaving but having the knowledge and understanding to continue working with wood again. Couldn't recommend it more.

I can highly recommend this workshop. Richard took the time to explain the theory behind the processes used and we had the opportunity to practice each step before applying what we’d learned, to make our board. The class was fun, the pace was relaxed, I learned a lot and I love my breadboard!
