The Experience

In this leather belt making workshop, you'll dive into the world of leathercraft and create your very own belt, guided by a skilled master craftsman.

The fully equipped workshop offers an authentic hands-on experience, with excellent tuition, giving you everything you need to fashion your very own leather belt from start to finish. The process involves selecting your preferred leather hue from a diverse array of colours, followed by hands-on tasks like measuring, cutting, stitching, decorating, and finishing. By the end of the workshop, you'll leave proudly with a unique, personally crafted leather belt.

Important Information

Group size is a minimum of 4 people, maximum 6.

Workshops are 6 hours long: 10am to 4pm.

Dates are available throughout the year and can be discussed with the experience provider.

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Minimum age is 16 years. Under 18's must be accompanied by a full paying adult (over 18) who can assume parental responsibility.
Sturdy shoes or boots with good grip will be essential. Open toe shoes will not be allowed and will exclude participants from the day if worn.
Sharp tools and needles will be used throughout the workshop.
All materials and relevant tools are provided so please do not bring your own without prior agreement.
Health and safety information will be provided when the date of the session is confirmed and a reiteration of this will be given at the start of the actual workshop.
All-day parking is available near our premises, but there is no parking on-site - details will be sent ahead of time.
If disability parking is required there is some limited parking available nearby - but ownership and display of a valid blue badge will be essential to qualify.
You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch, although there are food venues located near to the studio. Facilities to make hot or cold beverages are provided on-site.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

Johny and Debbie were amazing hosts, the workshop was great and had a real personal and relaxed feel. Johny was a fantastic teacher, I learned a lot about the craft and had a lot of fun during the making process, using a range of tools and techniques. I'm really pleased with the finished product and would encourage anyone of any age to give Johny's leathercraft workshops a go, no prior experience required.
