Safety is a top priority, with a detailed briefing before entering the caves and all essential equipment provided. Each adventurer is kitted out in a full caving suit, caving belt, knee pads, wellington boots, helmet, and head torch, ensuring comfort and protection throughout the journey.
This immersive, hands-on experience offers the chance to explore both horizontal and vertical routes, crawling, sliding, and climbing through unique underground terrain. Each section of the cave presents a new challenge, making this adventure accessible to all skill levels. Whether a complete beginner or an aspiring spelunker, participants will love discovering the secret corners of Nidderdale’s twelve kilometre network of intertwining passageways.
Small group sizes, with a maximum of 10 participants per instructor, ensure plenty of personal guidance and support. Expert instruction helps participants navigate tricky passages with confidence while revealing fascinating insights about the geology, history, and wildlife of the cave system.

This is a shared 3 hour experience, group sizes are usually up to 12 people.Â
