Ready to swap the indoor walls for the real deal? This Full Day Rock Climbing Experience is your chance to get stuck into proper outdoor climbing, learning the ropes (literally!) and taking on sandstone crags that’ll have you buzzing with adrenaline.
You’ll be in safe hands with friendly instructors who’ll guide you through everything like tying knots, belaying your partner, and climbing techniques to help you conquer those 30–40ft walls. The day starts with a safety briefing and a bouldering warm-up, before strapping on your harness and helmet and heading for your first big climb.
As the day goes on, you’ll try different routes that get gradually more challenging, slabs, cracks, vertical climbs, and even a cheeky overhang if you’re feeling brave. Each one gives you a fresh challenge and that unbeatable “I did it!” moment at the top.

What You’ll Need to Bring
For all outdoor climbing courses, please come prepared with extra warm layers and waterproof gear. A full kit list will be sent to you upon booking, but here’s a general guide:
*Choose layered clothing to retain warmth. Please avoid denim, as it restricts movement, feels cold when wet, and dries slowly.
**Soft-soled shoes are recomended, like trainers, to protect the rock surfaces. Walking boots or heavy-soled shoes are not permitted, as they can damage the rocks. The climbing area is a short walk from the car park, so be sure to use a rucksack with space to carry any climbing gear provided.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
