This workshop offers two options to suit your level of ambition and time commitment:
1-Day Class (6 Hours)
Forge a kitchen knife from a single piece of Damascus steel, shaping, grinding, polishing, and etching it in acid to reveal its stunning patterns. Optionally, prepare the knife to attach a handle later.
2-Day Class
Day 1: Forge the blade, then grind, polish, and etch it in acid to bring out the signature Damascus pattern.
Day 2: Choose a handle material from a selection of exotic hardwoods and fit it to the knife, adding a brass bolster and shaping it to complete your fully functional masterpiece.

Due to the popularity of the classes the earliest available dates are now from April 2027 onwards. Because of this, we offer an extended voucher validity of 18 months to help you make a booking.
Choose from a 1 Day Class (6 Hours) or a 2 Day Class
Classes run 5 days a week including weekends but are subject to availability and can book up months ahead.Â
Your voucher is valid for 18 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
