Come and meet the alpacas!
With this alpaca meet & greet experience, you can get up close and personal with a herd of beautiful alpacas and then enjoy a lovely afternoon tea.
Located on a farm in rural Shropshire, you'll get the opportunity to meet the herd of alpacas and learn all about these fascinating animals. There will be time to get to know the alpacas while enjoying the peaceful setting of the farm. You'll be shown around the 3 paddocks, introduced to members of the herd and have the chance to help feed them. Your guides will be more happy to answer any questions you have about these wonderful animals.
Once you can tear yourself away from the alpacas, you'll be able to enjoy a lovely locally made afternoon tea served in a beautifully presented box. Depending on the weather on the day, you can choose to eat your afternoon tea in the farm cafe or alternatively, they are picnic tables outside where you can take advantage of the panoramic view of the Shropshire countryside as you eat.

Sandwiches - Chicken Mayo, Cucumber & cream cheese, Cheese & red onion
Savouries - Pork pie, Sausage roll, Quiche
Sweets - Plain scones with jam, clotted cream & strawberries, Alpaca shortbread, Homemade cake selection

This experience is based on a working farm with minimal facilities in a rural location. You may need to walk across rough and uneven ground in multiple weather conditions.
While Alpacas are calm and good-natured creatures, they are still large wild animals and can therefore be unpredictable. It is imperative that you supervise any children you bring with you at all times, ensuring they remain by your side and are not allowed to roam around freely. This is vital to ensure their safety.
For reasons of safety please be aware that you must ensure your hands are washed and cleaned after handling the Alpacas and before you handle any food or drink.
 Hand washing facilities and anti-bacterial gel are provided.

Available on Saturdays & Sundays at either 12:30pm and 2pm.
Please allow 90 minutes for this experience.
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your allotted start time to give you time to be booked in.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Meeting the alpacas was great fun and we learnt lots which was good enough but then to have afternoon tea was fab too!
