This charming 45-minute river tour in Shropshire offers stunning views along the River Severn, then when you’re finished you get to enjoy a lovey afternoon tea!
Take a ride on a 60-person, three-deck, modern passenger ship on the River Severn close to Shrewsbury with retractable sides and a roof. On your travels, take in attractions like the Welsh Bridge, Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury Castle, and St. Chad's Church.
Suitable for both adults and kids, there are several opportunities to capture beautiful pictures and listen to the onboard commentary from a qualified local guide emphasising places of interest and local monuments.
Once the tour is complete, you take a short walk to a nearby restaurant for your traditional afternoon tea!
All drinks on board the boat must be purchased yourself.
The afternoon tea does not take place on the boat but in a café/restaurant, just a 10 minute walk away. Maps can be provided while on the boat.

A very infornative and interesting boat trip on the Sabrina, then a delicious afternoon tea which was plentiful. A lovely treat.
Really enjoyed this river cruise. It was well organised and very efficient. Great that they recognised those that had prebooked and called them on first with a reserved table save you having to scramble for a seat. It was also made special because we had lovely weather too.
My only small criticism is that it was too short. By the time we'd settled and got started it was time to head back and could have been a bit of an announcement for directions for those that had also booked afternoon tea
The cruise down the river was 45min all in but the journey was not very far just from the English bridge to the Welsh commenting was very good and informative we had a good ten min walk after to the wine bar st Julian’s for the afternoon tea it was ok but wouldn’t rave over it staff were lovely

Exceptional afternoon tea, lovely cafe and staff
We really enjoyed our Afternoon Tea Cruise on the River Severn at Shrewsbury. On arrival at the Sabrina boat, the crew welcomed us to our pre allocated seats on the top deck and we were offered drinks/snacks (at extra cost) to enjoy during the trip. This section of the river loops around the City and is very scenic and during the trip the pilot pointed out and gave us a history of the many places of interest. We disembarked and walked for around 10 minutes to the St Vincent restaurant who provided a substantial and delicious afternoon tea. I particularly appreciated the gluten- and lactose-free food they presented me with. Altogether a very enjoyable experience which I would not hesitate to recommend.
