For all the aspiring helicopter pilots out there, this helicopter trial lesson provides the ideal introduction to flying with 1 to 1 tuition from experienced instructors.
With the whole experience around 90 to 120 minutes, the lesson begins in the classroom where you'll learn the basics of flying a helicopter before getting to enjoy 40 minutes of flight time with hands-on learning where you get to take the controls of the helicopter.Â
Based at the Redhill Aerodrome, qualified CAA-approved instructors will tailor the training to suit you to create a safe and enjoyable learning experience.
You'll be learning in Guimbal Cabri G2 is a two-seat light helicopter manufactured by Hélicoptères Guimbal, and powered by a reciprocating engine. The first demonstrator flew in 1992 and the Cabri G2 entered commercial service in 2008. This modern helicopter has no maximum seat weight limitation.

All aircraft are subject to weight & balance limitations, both for individual passenger weights and the combined weight of all passengers flying.Â
There is no maximum seat weight for this helicopter as long as both you and the instructor fit comfortably in the cabin and are within the total weight and balance limitations.
This experience is subject to availability and flights normally operate on a daily basis between the hours of 10am and 4pm.Â
Flights are subject to suitable weather conditions. In the event of unsuitable weather, you will be offered an alternative date by the experience provider.
It is recommended to book at least 2 weeks in advance for a better chance of getting the date you want.
