This 365-metre journey takes you to the summit of the famous tent-like structure, where panoramic views await you 52 metres above the ground. From the glittering skyline to the winding Thames, it’s a perspective on London like no other.
Before your ascent, a trained climb guide will provide a full briefing and help you gear up with a specially designed climb suit, shoes, and safety harness. As you make your way up, you’ll tackle inclines of up to 28 degrees and descend with a steeper 30-degree incline, all while soaking in spectacular views from every angle.Â
Along the way, your expert guide will share fascinating insights about London’s sights and rich history, adding even more depth to this unforgettable experience.

How Long Does it Take to Climb The O2?
The full climb experience at The O2 takes approximately 90 minutes. This includes the safety briefing, gearing up, the climb itself, and time to enjoy the stunning views from the summit.
What Should You Wear?
Wear comfortable clothing suitable for the weather. Jackets and gilets are available if needed. In winter, gloves and hats are recommended. Gloves can be worn but need to be brought by the customer. Â Long hair should be tied back, and mobile phones or compact cameras must be stored in a secure button or zip pocket.
What Shoes Should You Wear?
Climbers will be required to wear our climb shoes so socks must be worn.Â
What Happens on The Day?
The entrance to Up at The O2 is just to the left of The O2’s main entrance, and it’s here you’ll check in 15 minutes before your pre-booked time. Once everyone’s arrived (you’ll be heading up in a group), it’ll be time for a short safety briefing and grabbing your climbing gear, suit, shoes and a safety harness.
From there it’s up, up and away, heading to the summit of The O2 dome before a short stop at the top and heading back down the other side. You can take pictures with your phone at the summit, but there’s no photography on the way up or down, because you might drop your phone otherwise!
