The Shard is typically open from Wednesday to Sunday. Some date restrictions may apply. The Shard has a strict no changes policy.

The View from The Shard schedule bookings up to 3 months in advance only.
However, please note that Friday or Saturday night bookings (from 5.30pm) cannot be booked more than 48 hours in advance (availability for dinner on Friday and Saturday is released at 09.00 on Wednesday and Thursday respectively of that week).
Some date restrictions, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day and Valentine's Day will apply.

The food was lovely with great service and the trip up the Shard was worthwhile- even on a cloudy day! The reason I've given it 4 stars is because it's not totally clear that the restaurant is not in the Shard. We spoke to another couple who had bought the same experience and they had that misunderstanding too!
