No prior experience is needed, you can be a complete beginner, with the masterclass tailored to suit the needs of your group.
This all-inclusive workshop has everything you need to make the most of this enjoyable learning experience. You can access an array of glass colours containing many metals and minerals activated by fire! Under the guidance of experienced glassblowing artists, you'll gain practical skills in manipulating molten glass and the freedom to experiment with various techniques to create stunning glassware ornaments and art pieces.
Immerse yourself in the mesmerising process of heating molten glass in an 1100-degree furnace, using historical hand-forged tools to gather and shape your glass, and finally, breathe life into your creations by blowing and forming them. There'll be step-by-step demonstrations with hands-on guidance, so each group member can try their hand at glassblowing.
The end result? A collection of unique glass pieces, ranging from colourful paperweights, inverted bubble bowls, and a choice of coloured ombré vases - or your own personalised drinking glass.
You'll leave the workshop with your fabulous glass creation to display with pride, a souvenir of an amazing day spent with friends or family.Â
This is a private glassblowing experience where only your group will be in the workshop.
If choosing the group of 6, there must be 6 people in your group.
If choosing the 7-10 group, there can be 7, 8, 9 or 10 people in your group.Â
How many glass items you'll be able to make:
The number of glass items you'll be able to make during the experience will vary dependant on the group size.
A group of six will be able to make 3 items each.
A group of ten will be able to make 2 items each however they won't be able to make more complicated forms like vases due to the amount of people and capacity.Â
Taking your items home:
All masterpieces will need 12 hours to anneal (cool down) to room temperature in the kilns. Your glass items will be ready to take home within 1-2 weeks. You can arrange for your items to be posted to you or if you are collecting them yourself, you will be called as soon as they are ready.Â

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
