The Main Event
Start creating your best piece of work with an Introduction to the Potter’s Wheel experience where you can produce a bowl or vase on a potter’s wheel. Our expert guides will show you exactly what you need to do in order to create a masterpiece worth displaying at home!
On the day you will share a wheel between two, having two goes to make a pot. You’ll then be offered one of three choices:
1) The environmentally friendly option - we’ll recycle your attempts so your clay can be enjoyed again and again by our lovely customers.
2) Select your favourite pot to take away, air-dry and paint at home.
3) For an additional fee per pot we’ll fire and glaze your creation. If you go for option 3, your masterpiece will need to dry thoroughly before it goes in the kiln. It will be fired twice.
With the glazing option, you'll be contacted around a month after your Potters wheel adventure, to arrange collection or delivery (small fee applies) of your showpiece for you to treasure forever!
Important Bits
When
Intro to the Potter’s Wheel Classes run Thursday – Saturday starting at 11.00am and 2pm. Sundays and evenings may be available for larger group bookings.
Please allow 1.5hrs for your visit.
The 'fire and glaze' option takes around a month to be finished and is an additional cost of £20 per pot, collection or delivery ( P & P is £5 ) will then be arranged with you directly.
Apron and towel hire bundle £5 per person.
Validity
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
Who Can Go
- Age 12 and over.
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
What about Insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
How it Works
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
