The perfect introductory flight for any flying enthusiast, you can choose from a 45 minute, 60 minute or 90 minute flying lessons.
The flight instruction programme kicks off with an initial flight that allows the learner to experience the unique thrill of flying. This is followed by the opportunity to take the pilot's seat upfront.
With the instructor positioned behind, the learner will start with fundamental exercises to master aircraft control. It takes 10-15 hours of instruction before a learner is ready for their first solo flight.
Post-solo, learners will accumulate solo flying hours, both within and beyond the training circuit, while tackling more complex manoeuvres, including emergency responses. The duration of training varies, extending until the learner is ready for the General Skills Test.
Instruction also includes navigation training—learning to fly at appreciable distances from the base airfield without losing one’s way. Equally crucial is mastering the skill of landing adeptly.

Please note that microlight flying is weather dependent, and that the conditions will be assessed by the instructor only the day before at the earliest. We will only fly if the conditions are suitable to be sure you have a safe and enjoyable flight.
If your flight is cancelled due to poor weather conditions then you will be offered alternative dates.
