Highland cows, an afternoon tea and and overnight stay? What more could you want for a gift?!

On a beautiful Shropshire farm, you'll be introduced to some real VIPs: a small fold of pedigree Highland cows. With their flowing fringes and big, gentle personalities, these cows are impossible not to fall in love with. You’ll spend time in the paddock feeding, grooming, and giving them a good old fuss. Whether you’re snapping photos with your shaggy new pals or enjoying a quiet moment brushing their silky coats, it’s one of those experiences that leaves you feeling calm, happy, and even more obsessed with Highland cows.

Once you’ve had your fill of cuddles, it’s time to slow things down even further with a delicious afternoon tea. Made using locally sourced ingredients and served picnic-style in a beautifully presented box, it’s packed with freshly baked cakes, sandwiches, sweet treats, and, of course, a proper cup of tea. Enjoy it in the farm café or take it outside and soak up the rolling Shropshire views.

After a day that’s already pretty special, you’ll head to the elegant Best Western Valley Hotel in Ironbridge for an overnight stay. This Georgian listed country house hotel sits on the banks of the River Severn, offering a peaceful retreat just a short walk from the heart of Ironbridge. Expect cosy rooms, classic charm, and a relaxing night’s sleep, followed by a delicious breakfast the next morning.

Group size for Highland Cow Cuddling Experience is a maximum of 4 people.

Footwear/clothing recommendations
It is strongly recommended you wear sturdy boots, wellingtons or larger shoes.
During the winter months the field can be extremely muddy so wellington boots and waterproof clothing are recommended.

Afternoon Tea: Vegan and gluten-free options available. Please request when booking.

Bookings are available every day of the week - subject to availability.
Saturday nights may have less availability due to high demand, especially during the summer months.

It is recommended to book as far in advance as possible.

The hotel is closed from the 24th December to the 2nd January.

This is an extremely popular activity so booking ahead is strongly recommended.

Available Monday, Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Duration of Highland Cow Cuddling Experience: 30 minutes

Please arrive 5 mins in advance of your allotted start time to be booked in. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

For ages 18+ only.
Overnight Stay: Pets are not accepted.
Overnight Stay: Guide, hearing and assistance dogs only are allowed inside the hotel.
Highland Cow Cuddling Experience: Not suitable for wheelchair or walker users.
Highland Cow Cuddling Experience: Spectators are not allowed.
Highland Cow Cuddling Experience: Free parking is included as well as access to the rest of the farm.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
