The Main Event
The Shepton Mallet Prison or Shrewsbury Prison tour both include fun and educational experiences throughout the whole day as you investigate what prison life was like for the former prisoners who served their sentences here. Including the cells, healthcare rooms, executioner’s bedroom, and even the Condemned prisoner’s cell. Explore the history of the prison dating back over 400 years.
This a great no-holds-barred guided tour led by an ex prison Officer who can shed a real light on what life was like for the prisoners, officers and visitors coming to the prison.
Once you've finished exploring, find some light relief in the prison Museum gift shop where you can find something to take home as well as the unique memories of your time behind bars. Finish the day in the prison cafe where you’ll find a lovely selection of light bites and drinks.

What about Insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
