You'll be welcomed with a complimentary glass of bubbles or a tea or coffee if it’s before noon. Then it’s time to don your apron and channel your inner nonna. With the help of an expert Italian chef, you’ll learn a recipe that’s been passed down through generations, one that’s guaranteed to make your homemade gnocchi light, fluffy, and full of flavour.
The experience begins with a quick masterclass in creating the perfect sweet tomato sauce. Infused with garlic, basil and just a touch of chilli, this is the kind of sauce that makes Italian cooking so irresistible. You’ll then move on to transforming beautifully baked potatoes into a soft gnocchi dough. With step-by-step guidance, you’ll discover how to rice, knead, shape and cook your dumplings to perfection.
Of course, no gnocchi is complete without its finishing touches. You’ll toss your freshly made pasta in melted butter, plenty of Parmesan and your homemade tomato sauce. As if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also learn how to make whipped ricotta, a simple but indulgent topping made with Parmesan and premium olive oil that takes the dish to the next level.
Once the cooking is complete, you'll take a seat around the chef’s table to enjoy your Italian feast. Alongside your gnocchi, you’ll tuck into a seasonal side salad with balsamic dressing, the perfect fresh balance to the rich, comforting flavours. You’ll leave with a digital recipe pack so you can recreate the magic whenever you fancy a taste of Italy.
