Leigh Mill Lake is well-stocked with a variety of fish, including rainbow trout, brown trout, and wild perch. With most fish weighing between 1 and 8 lbs, you’re in for a rewarding fishing experience.

My full day introduction to Fly Fishing by John and Colin at Leigh Mill was great. They provided good quality tackle, were clear with their instructions on getting me started and put me at ease from the moment I arrived at their Godstone fishery. The club sandwich from the local deli was a delicious and filling lunch and the cake was way too big to eat! To top off the day I managed to catch three fish and miss another three. The location is stunning and the team at Leigh Mill clearly take great pride in keeping the entire place looking like a landscaped park. Thank You Colin for being a great tutor and being patient with me as I learnt the casting technique and also thanks to John for allowing a novice like myself to fish in your members only fishery, it was a great day that will live in my memory for many years to come.
