Learn a new skill or perfect the ones you have with this fused glass art full day workshop.
Discover how to safely cut glass and break it to create a lovely fused glass art piece. After you have designed your piece, you will assemble it for the kiln ready to be fired with a variety of glass fusing techniques dependant on your design.
Your designs can be as ambitious as you can manage and examples of things you can make can be a tea light holder in the morning and a sun catcher in the afternoon. Or if you have a specific idea in mind you can speak to the team and they can accommodate where possible.
Choose 2 items to make from a list that could include:
2 x 10cm square coasters
2 x suncatchers (approx. 3cm x 15cm)
1 tealight holder
1 light catching picture
Jewellery set
All the items that you make during the workshop will be yours to keep. Once the items have been fired through the kiln, they will notify you that they are ready to collect. They can arrange postage of the items if required for a fee.
Our classes run selected weekends throughout the year Saturdays & Sundays. Selected mid-week days are available if required.
Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
