The Flowers With Fire Blacksmith Experience is perfect for anyone with a curious spirit and a love for making things by hand. Set in a professional blacksmith’s forge, this experience invites complete beginners and budding makers alike to create striking metal flowers from steel and copper.
Led by expert blacksmith Will Holland FWCB, this workshop takes inspiration from cake decorating techniques, only instead of sugar and icing, you’ll be using heat, hammers and metal! With a focus on shaping beautiful organic forms, you’ll learn the traditional art of repoussé, a way of forming and sculpting metal that’s surprisingly delicate and approachable, even for first-timers.
Each session is taught in small groups, so there’s plenty of one-on-one support and guidance. Whether you're giving this as a gift to someone who’s never picked up a hammer, or to someone with a bit of forge experience already, they'll be supported at every step. And if they’ve already done some forging, the team can help them explore more advanced techniques to really elevate their skills.
What’s especially lovely about this experience is that it’s not about brute strength, it’s about detail, shaping and form. You can create something truly personal, whether it’s a standalone sculpture or a centrepiece for a special event.
All tools, materials and safety gear are provided and the forge has a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere where guests can progress at their own pace. It’s open to anyone aged 16 or over and makes an inspired gift for creative types, fans of artisan crafts or anyone looking for something a little different.

Class duration: 1 day.
Each person will make & take home their floral sculpture.
