The Experience

This helicopter flight experience takes you on a tour of the beautiful South Coast where you'll spend an hour soaring through the skies with glorious scenery beneath you.

This is a private flight, so no sharing with strangers, in a Robinson R44 helicopter and is for a group of up to 3 passengers, with everyone getting a window seat to enjoy the spectacular views.

Beginning in Redhill Aerodrome in Surrey, your helicopter will take you south towards Gatwick where you'll get amazing views of London's busy second biggest airport.

Following the Brighton mainline, you'll spot the huge Ouse Valley Viaduct, sometimes called the Balcombe Viaduct. It was built in 1842 and spans an incredible 450m across the Ouse Valley, carrying the London to Brighton railway line.

Continuing south takes you past the Sussex towns of Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill, then on over the South Downs to the port town of Shoreham and the South Coast. Then you'll head east towards Brighton, with its newly refurbished East Pier, fantastic city views and even the wreck of the West Pier destroyed by fire in 2003. On leaving Brighton you'll fly over the chic Brighton Marina where you can spy on all the expensive yachts.

Moving east, you'll get a great view of Newhaven ferry port and docks and notice how the coast changes shape to chalk cliffs and rocks as you head for the world famous Beachy Head It's massive record breaking white cliffs and lighthouse are not to be missed!

As you carry on along the coast, you'll arrive at Eastbourne before turning north past Halsham and Crowborough which is situated on the Weald next to Ashdown Forest. On reaching Edenbridge you'll turn west, paralleling the North Downs towards South Godstone Station, snatching views of the London skyline before landing back at Redhill Aerodrome.

Important Information

All aircraft are subject to weight & balance limitations, both for individual passenger weights and the combined weight of all passengers flying.
The individual seat limit for tours (R44) is 136kg (21 stone), however if anyone in your group is above 95kg (15st) you will need to contact the experience provider to confirm that the aircraft weight and balance limitations are not exceeded.

This experience is subject to availability and flights normally operate on a daily basis between the hours of 10am and 4pm.

Flights are subject to suitable weather conditions. In the event of unsuitable weather, you will be offered an alternative date by the experience provider.

It is recommended at book at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure you get the date you want.

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Minimum age is 6 years old.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 15 Stone (95 Kg) should contact the carrier before booking.
All passengers must have photographic ID with them for the day of the flight.
Flights are weight critical and all passenger weights must be provided when booking your flight date.
Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is cancelled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
There are certain health restrictions which may prevent you from flying, these include; Limited Mobility, Epilepsy, Heart Conditions & Pregnancy. If you have concerns that you may not be able to fly we would suggested seeking advice from your Doctor.
The experience provider reserves the right to refuse any passenger boarding the aircraft in the following circumstances: late arrival to terminal, failure to provide photo ID when required, when intoxicated, when displaying threatening or abusive behaviour towards staff and /or other passengers, any behaviour that may compromise passenger and/or pilot safety on-board the aircraft.
If you are refused access to the flight, you will not be entitled to a refund.
The Captain of the aircraft is in command and his/her instructions should be obeyed at all times. Any interference with the operational safety of the aircraft, its passengers or cargo could result in immediate landing and prosecution by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
