This SSI Try Scuba Diving Course is the perfect way to dip your toes into a whole new world. It's a beginner-friendly experience is designed for anyone who’s ever wondered what it would be like to go scuba diving. No previous experience is needed, making it perfect for someone wanting to try something new. It’s a brilliant option for families, with children as young as 8 able to take part.
It takes place in an indoor swimming pool, so no need to worry about the deep blue sea just yet. With a qualified instructor by your side the whole time, you’ll be guided through the basics before taking those first incredible breaths underwater.
It’s a fun and unique way to try something new, and maybe even spark a lifelong passion. Who knows, today’s pool session could be the start of future diving holidays and underwater adventures!
By the end of the session, you'll have earned your SSI Try Scuba recognition card, a little keepsake that could mark the start of more scuba diving adventures to come.
Please note this is a recognition program, not a formal certification.
What to bring
You will need to bring a towel, your swimwear (swim shorts/trunks or costume is fine). Some like to wear a t-shirt for comfort but this is optional. Wetsuits are not provided.
All scuba equipment will be provided.
Wednesday evenings.
