This six-hour beginner workshop covers the basics of working with silver clay, enabling you to create impressive pieces of jewellery. No previous experience is needed and you need not bring anything along. All necessary tools and equipment are provided, including 7g of silver clay, enough to create two to three pieces of jewellery. Additional clay is available for purchase on the day if you wish to make something larger.
You will learn how to set up your workstation, as well as how to cut, texture, and refine your piece in preparation for firing, before experiencing the transformation of your work into silver. The session also includes useful tips and techniques for polishing and finishing your silver jewellery. To complete your piece, a silver chain and bail are provided, along with a gift box for you to take your finished jewellery home.
The workshop is led by an award-winning jeweller who recently received the People’s Choice Award for Collection of the Year at the Professional Jeweller Awards 2025. Held at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in Hyde Park, the event saw him compete against some of the biggest names in the industry. To his surprise, his stunning After the Fire collection, featuring a necklace, bracelet and earrings, captured the judges’ attention and secured him the coveted win.
