Perfect for anyone aged 12 and over, this experience is fully tailored to the person taking the controls. After a warm welcome and refreshments, your instructor will help plan the flight route and chat through any aviation interests. Next, it’s time to step into the briefing room for a 15-minute overview of the R22’s flight controls and instruments. Then the moment you've been waiting for, climbing into the cockpit and taking the Captain’s seat. With 30, 45 or 60 minutes of flight time, depending on the voucher chosen, you’ll take the controls under expert guidance.
From low-level manoeuvres to practicing emergency procedures, this is as close to piloting a real helicopter as you can get without leaving the ground.
Once your flight is complete, enjoy another round of refreshments and chat with your instructor about what you've just experienced.

Up to 2 spectators are welcome to come and watch. They can stand next to the R22 simulator. You are responsible for their conduct and must keep children supervised at all times. Â

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
