The Experience

A Land Kitesurfing Lesson is the perfect present for anyone who loves trying something new and exciting!

This two-hour experience is ideal for beginners who want to dip their toes into the world of kitesurfing without committing to a full-day lesson. Taking place on the stunning Wallasey Beach in Merseyside, this small-group session (up to four people) provides a fun and accessible introduction to this adrenaline-fuelled watersport.

Under expert guidance, participants will learn to control a two-line trainer kite on the beach, mastering the essential skills needed to progress onto the water. It’s the perfect stepping stone for anyone curious about kitesurfing – and who knows, they might just catch the kitesurfing bug!

Wallasey Beach is renowned as one of the best places to learn kitesurfing in the UK. With shallow, flat waters and consistent cross-onshore winds, it’s an ideal location to practice and build confidence. The fresh sea air, stunning coastal views, and supportive learning environment make this experience an unforgettable one.

Suitable for complete beginners.

This is a 2 hour experience in a group of up to 4 people.

What to bring with you:
A surfing wetsuit, if you prefer to use your own. However a wetsuit will be provided for you to wear
A towel
Sunglasses, as you'll be looking up at the sky a lot during the session
Any emergency medication you'll need
Snacks

Available to book daily, subject to availability and suitable weather conditions.

Please be aware this is a weather dependant activity.

A wind speed of between 10 and 25 knots is needed for the session to go ahead.

If a lesson is cancelled due to unsuitable weather conditions, your session will be rescheduled.

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Minimum age: 12 years old
Minimum weight: 40kg / 6 stones
You don't need to be strong or that fit. All the force comes through your waist harness. You control the kite with the tips of your fingers.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
