The afternoon tea itself is exactly what you want it to be. Freshly baked scones, warm and ready for jam and cream. There’s a selection of sandwiches filled with homemade favourites, followed by a tempting spread of cakes and sweet treats that are all made on site. Everything is served with a pot of tea, coffee or infusion of your choice, topped up when you need it.
The setting adds to the experience. Inside, the Glendale Restaurant and elegant lounges feel grand yet welcoming, whether you’re settling in near the fire or enjoying the calm of the rooms. On warmer days, the terrace offers a lovely spot to take in the gardens and fresh Yorkshire air.
