Slip down into a shadowy underground station that’s been quietly transformed into a lively black market watering hole. Behind the platform doors you’ll find a gang of quick-witted traders, charming scoundrels and suspiciously friendly dealers who know how to throw a proper knees-up. It’s all very hush-hush, of course, so best keep it between us.
To get you settled in, you’ll be handed a welcome drink before the real business begins. From there, cocktails make their way around the room throughout the experience. The drinks arrive disguised as everyday rations: think bottles of “milk”, pots of “tea” and a few cheeky concoctions that might normally be passed quietly under the counter.
Even the most enthusiastic revellers need a bite to keep them going. You’ll tuck into a comforting spread featuring a hearty sandwich with golden skinny chips, followed by a rich chocolate brownie for dessert, the perfect fuel for an afternoon of mischief.
Running the show is your quick-tongued host, a character who may or may not have had a recent run-in with the authorities. With plenty of charm and more than a few tall tales, they’ll guide the room through lively entertainment including a vintage-style quiz, interactive games and live performances that keep the whole hideout buzzing.
It’s all a little bit illicit, a lot of fun, and the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon in London… just make sure the coppers don’t catch wind of it.
