Due to this being a popular experience booking is generally 3-6 months in advance is required for most locations.
Validity
Your voucher is valid for 24 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
Who Can Go
- Minimum age is 10
- Please note that at least one adult must accompany every seven children for children aged 16 years and younger
- Medical conditions such as heart problems, claustrophobia or epilepsy may increase your chance of having an accident - please check with the supplier prior to booking to see if you are suitable for this experience
- Unfortunately, this experience is not suitable for those suffering with high blood pressure or for pregnant women
What about Insurance?
Some operators require customers to complete an indemnity/damage waiver form prior to taking the experience. This may state the driver is liable for a fixed amount of costs should they damage the vehicle whilst driving. Most operators are able to provide additional insurance to cover this at a small additional fee, payable on site. The purchase of this is optional and is in addition to the public liability insurance held by all venues. The full details of any indemnity or damage waiver and additional insurance will be provided by the activity operator. WonderDays is unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of any such waiver or additional insurance.

FAQs
Can I drive without a licence?
Yes, drivers can be as young as 10 years old, providing they can reach the pedals with the padding we provide. Minimum height restriction for junior drivers is 135 cm. *Apart from Castle Combe & Goodwood Motor Circuit where you need a full license. Most of our trainers are ARDS or ADI qualified and all staff are police checked.
Can children drive?
Yes, drivers can be minimum age 10 apart from Castle Combe where you need a full license. Cars juniors can drive are:

Can we spectate?
Yes, there are outside spectator areas so please dress appropriately
Can I accompany my child in the vehicle?
Unfortunately due to health and safety, you can’t sit in the car with your child.
Is there someone sat in the car with my child?
Yes, there is a driving trainer sat in car with you at all times out on track.
How long do I drive for?
For each supercar experience that you purchase, you will be allocated three miles per car for example, if you purchase the triple supercar experience you will be allocated 9 miles in total. How long you are physically on the track really depends on how fast you want to drive!
What do I need to wear?
Please be aware that all driving experiences are completely outdoors and open to the elements. It's always worth packing a coat or umbrella even if the forecast looks sunny as airfields and circuits tend to be very windy!
Drivers should wear sensible shoes or trainers for driving and comfy trousers. Legs must be fully covered if you're driving the Shelby Cobra or Mustang GT350 as these cars have side exit exhausts that get very warm!
Do all cars run in the rain?
Yes, events are run in all weathers unless it is deemed so extreme that is unsafe to be on track.
Do I have to drive quickly?
Not at all, our trainers will help you enjoy the drive however you would like to.
Are the cars dual control?
As we use real cars which are driven with pedals, some cars will use dual pedal control, and some will have a handle that can be pulled for an emergency stop if danger arises.
What tracks are available?
Chippenham (Castle Combe) is a £30 upgrade, Lincoln (Blyton Park) is a £10 upgrade on weekdays.
Castle Combe is full license holders only and any event that shows 'adults only' or 'juniors only' must remain as so.
DUNSFOLD – £35 upgrade. On the Top Gear PREMIUM circuit please note that this is 2 miles, so a 3 mile experience will be 2 laps and a 6 mile experience will be 3 laps. Juniors will drive on the Southern Circuit, which is on the same site, but is not the whole Top Gear track.
BOVINGTON-This circuit is 3 miles a lap, so a 3 mile experience will consist of 1 lap and a 6 mile experience will be 2 laps.
SUNDERLAND- £25 upgrade for 2023. 1 mile a lap.
Separate track for junior drivers at Abingdon, Three Sisters, Dunsfold and Tibenham.
Available for Juniors and Adults from 10 years old!
Please note that Truck/Optimus experiences are not available at Castle Combe, Bicester, Northampton or Lichfield.
What happens on the day?
We advise customers to book all vehicles onto the same time slot however if you have more than three cars to drive, please DO NOT book the last session of the day. The time that you are choosing is your arrival time and will not be the time you start driving. Please be aware that you will need to allow up to 3 hours at the venue from your session start time to complete your experience.
Trucks - There are three truck drivers booked in per hourly session - each with a 20 minute slot. Please note that the 20 minute session includes all time in the cab including a quick talk through the controls and also any of your own photo taking opportunities. For example, if you are booked in for the 10.30am session, please make sure you are signed in by this time, and your unique drive time slot will be between 11am and 12pm. Please do still allow 2-3 hours at the venue in case of any delays.
Photograph and video packages are available on the day, ranging from £25-£60 dependant on the package chosen and footage available.
Are the cars insured?
Yes but there is a £5,000 damage excess that is payable by the driver if any damage is caused whilst they are behind the wheel. You can cover yourself against the excess with an optional £29 damage waiver (available upon booking or on the day). This is a non-refundable payment. Please ensure you bring a credit card on the day if you are opting out of the damage waiver. This must be a card with a minimum £5000 limit. Please note the experience provider does not accept American Express.
