The first is Target Archery where you release your inner Robin Hood and try one of England’s favourite and oldest pastimes by learning how to use a bow and arrows!
Target Archery, which is practiced at the Olympics sees you shoot a set number of arrows at targets placed at specified distances on a flat surface. For those interested in competition or improving their technique, simply ask the instructor to adapt the session to suit the needs of the group.
If you’ve always fancied climbing then take a look at what’s on offer. There are three climbing walls: The Crag, The Pyramid, and The Tower and each wall features various grades, ranging from basic traverses to more challenging climbs for those seeking a greater test of their skills. Both The Pyramid and The Crag are floodlit and available whenever the centre is open.
Water is the theme of the last taster choice with either canoeing or kayaking available for your group to choose. The canoes seat 1-3 people and is the idea way to try something new with the safety of numbers. Kayaking is great fun and is the perfect activity to learn and keep fit at the same time as you learn how to navigate the boat and use double bladed paddles.
One and a half hour group taster sessions.

The instructors work to the ability of the group.
