You'll meet a flock of wonderfully fluffy Pedigree Ryeland sheep, a hardy heritage breed known for being as cuddly as they are curious. They adore meeting new people, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself surrounded by woolly faces eager for a gentle fuss. You’ll also get to say hello the resident chickens and ducks, adding a bit of farmyard chatter to the experience.
Along the way, you’ll hear stories about life on the farm straight from the owner, offering a lovely glimpse into what it takes to care for these animals year-round. It’s relaxed, engaging and a lovely reminder of the simple pleasures that come with being outdoors.
The afternoon tea is served right on the farm, featuring a mouth-watering spread from the local village bakery. Expect a selection of sandwiches, sausage roll, pie and quiche, plus a tempting line-up of cakes and a traditional scone. Plenty of tea and coffee keeps everything flowing, and if you’re celebrating something special, you can even add a 200ml bottle of prosecco each for a little sparkle.

We had a wonderful afternoon tea at the farm amongst the chickens and sheep! It was great fun bottle feeding the lovely lambs Betty, Keppel and Wilson! Karl was a fantastic host with lots of stories about his time on the farm. He even accommodated for my mother with limited mobility giving her a lift in his buggy up the road so we could see Bluey the sheepdog in action! I would thoroughly recommend a visit for a unique day out! I even got to hold a hen and a chick which was a first!
