Discover the gorgeous Surrey countryside will all its stunning views and historic buildings on this 20-25 minute (air traffic allowing) helicopter flight experience.
It's a private flight in a Robinson R44 helicopter and is for a group of up to 3 passengers (with everyone getting a window seat).
As you depart from Redhill Aerodrome, you'll get views of Redhill and Reigate as you head towards Box Hill, a famous beauty spot. Box Hill overlooks the Mole Gap where the River Mole breaks through the line of the North Downs. Jane Austen fans may recognise it from the scene of the famous picnic in “Emma”.
Continuing westwards, you'll pass over the largest vineyard in England, Denbie’s just to the north of Dorking. Turning north west, you'll Polesden Lacey, the National Trust Georgian mansion that was the honeymoon retreat for King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
Continuing north west will see you fly over the Royal Horticultural Society building and flagship gardens at Wisley and their state of the art glass houses. You'll then carry on to Clandon Park, one of the country's most complete example of a Palladian mansion, built circa 1730 by Venetian architect Giacomo Leoni.
As your helicopter flight nears its end, you'll turn east to see Albury Park Mansion. This magnificent Grade II listed Tudor Mansion is one of Surrey’s most important and prestigious country houses. Renowned for its impressive architecture, including its 66 different chimneys, it's a true feast for the eyes.
Returning back over Dorking, you might be able to spot views of the London skyline and Gatwick Airport before landing back at Redhill Aerodrome.
