The Main Event

Give a gift with a difference and instead of buying the same old pair of slippers, do the polar opposite and buy your loved one an amazing adventure in the sky with either a 12 mile Helicopter experience!

Up to four people can experience the exhilaration of being in a fast powerful machine whilst whizzing through the air. After arriving at one of the locations across the UK, you will be given a full safety briefing before getting in some bragging rights with photos next to the chopper.

Prepare yourself to reach heights of up to 1500 feet and speeds of 120 mph while the pilot points out local landmarks and sights across 12 miles of the beautiful British countryside. You will be given a headset to communicate with the pilot too so you can find out everything you’ve ever wanted to know about these brilliant machines!

Once you’ve landed back to earth, enjoy a glass of bubbly before heading off home and telling everyone what an unforgettable experience it was!

Important Bits

When

Typically flights take place at least one weekend day per month from April to October.

You must check weather on the day prior to setting off for your flight. Flights are subject to cancellation due to weather and operational issues

The experience lasts around 1 hour in total, with approximately 8 minutes in the helicopter for 12 miles.

The Cornwall location is available 28th July–8th August only

This experience is available on Saturdays and Sundays at the Wellesbourne, Silverstone, Thruxton, Fairoaks, Gloucester, Manchester and Cumbernauld locations.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.

Who Can Go

Minimum age: 6 (adult supervision required for under 12s on airfield premises)
Maximum height is 6’6”
Maximum weight is 18 stone
Please contact the venue if you weigh over 15 stone

You should not take part if you suffer from epilepsy, vertigo or are pregnant. You should be in reasonable health, if you have any disability or illness that may prevent you from taking part then you must discuss this with the centre before booking

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it Works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
